The powder Super Plus is formulated as a generic serum substitute used in the growth of most cell types. Containing all essential components, Super Plus can be added to user’s existing basal media, reducing the serum supplementation. Additionally, its low protein formulation facilitates downstream processing of viruses, recombinant protein or other biologicals.
 
The component-defined Super Plus minimizes the up and down-stream cost, variation of batches, and potential risk of viral contamination caused by serum. Better process control and reproducibility can be achieved.
